Whole, entire posts (including recap(s)) coming soon! Couldn't let this important reminder wait, though.
When you head out for a long run, don't leave your water bottle on your kitchen counter. Excessive thirst and desperation may force you to drink out of a gas station bathroom sink. Don't let this happen to you :
For some reason I was really nauseous the next few miles...
Hope everyone is well and taking the time to appreciate cold drinking water from a clean, reliable source, today.
I am nauseous just looking at that sink...
ReplyDeleteOh goodness. You should be on a survivor show. :)
ReplyDeleteDees. Guh. Sting.
ReplyDeleteOh...ew....eww...eww...that said I've done some very questionable things while running out of desperation.
ReplyDeleteIt's happened to me. What kind of gas station has a soda machine without water? Crazy crazy! Luckily I was in a small town and I let the water run a bit before refilling my bottle. It was good! Either that or I was close to death by dehydration.
ReplyDeleteI nominated you for a Liebster...my post will go live 4/2/13...http://runningafterbabiez.blogspot.com/2013/04/q-liebster-style.html
ReplyDeleteUgh! Running most definitely makes you desperate.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh. That is so nasty!! I have been that desperate though. Once I ran a loger run- about 17 miles with no water and got so thirsty I looked at every puddle on the way home and actually drank from one. May we never be that desperate again! Run smart!!
